Our Ministries
Thank you for your interest in the ministries of Iglesia de la Costa. We are so excited about what God is doing, and it is our joy to share it with you. We invite you to explore the various opportunities for ministry, and please let us know if you have questions or an interest in volunteering to serve.
Costa Kidz
COSTA KIDZ is for children ages 2 through 11 and meets on Sundays during our adult worship services. Costa Kidz is committed to teaching God’s word and inspiring our kids to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ through lessons, games, music and other activities. Our leaders share God’s love and ensure every child feels special and valued, and OUR KIDS HAVE TONS OF FUN TOO!
Vertical Youth
VERTICAL is for youth ages 12-18. Vertical is committed to equip the next generation with the truths of God’s word and help them to develop a deep and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ, so that they can find true life in Him and impact their generation and their communities with the love of God and the gospel.
Diamonds
DIAMONDS is our adult women’s ministry. Diamonds meet for regularly scheduled events where women enjoy times of worship, learn the truths of God’s word, grow in their faith and their spiritual gifts, and build lasting relationships within a loving and supportive community.
Kingdom Men
KINGDOM MEN is our adult men’s ministry and meets the last Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. Kingdom Men is designed to encourage and strengthen men in their faith, in their relationship with Jesus, and their unity with other brothers in Christ. Hands of Mercy
HANDS OF MERCY provides food, clothing and other types of emergency relief to local individuals and families in financial crisis. Our ministry volunteers build relationships with these families – visiting them, meeting physical needs, encouraging them, praying with them and, when possible, working with them to escape the cycle of poverty. We accept financial gifts and donations of non-perishable food to support the work if this ministry.
Oasis
OASIS is dedicated to the welfare of women and teen girls in our communities. We seek to encourage and empower them through vocational training, fellowship, personal counseling and prayer to promote healing and restoration, enhance personal development and improve their quality of life, so that they can be all that God has created them to be. The following is a list of classes offered through Oasis: English, sewing, cooking/baking, and arts and crafts.
Buena Voluntad
BUENA VOLUNTAD is our non-profit thrift store. We offer high-quality, reasonably priced clothing for the entire family. We are currently open Tuesday through Saturday each week. Proceeds are used to support the ministries of the church.
Costa Cafe
COSTA CAFÉ is where we enjoy coffee, and at times other refreshments, before our weekly worship services and for special events. Volunteers for Costa Café prepare and monitor the refreshment table before the service, and clean and put away all refreshment items after the service.
